Detroit Youth Volume violin and viola students ages 3-18 learned to produce their own electronic music during a series or workshops with Molly Jones, Scott Murphy, Rafael Statin, Sterling Toles an Moxie Strings.

They used samples of acoustic and electric violin, their voices, and an MPC -- the favorite tool of famed Detroiter and the Mozart of hip hop, J Dilla!

Teaching artists Scott Murphy and Sterling Toles performed alongside students at the album release at Trinosophes, a minimalist, vegan--friendly American cafe featuring locally sourced faire, lie music & art exhibits. Its location is Gratiot Ave in Detroit's Eastern Market, once known as Techno Alley.
